When “Grace” Becomes Evil’s Accomplice

When "Grace" Becomes Evil's Accomplice

By: Kimberly Dimick

With Kimberly's gracious permission, I am sharing her words to me a few years ago, when I was so unwilling to let go of my marriage. I felt "if I just give him more grace and love him more, our marriage can be saved". But there are some marriages God does not want saved, because in trying to save the marriage our "grace" becomes evil's accomplice.

If one person intends to remain abusive, lacking a contrite heart, the person who has "grace" for the abuser is hurting rather than helping the marriage.

Please note, this advice is specifically for pathological, not normal, relationships. I'll let Kimberly explain:

It is not so much anymore what this man is doing. The question is who are you aligning yourself with? Are you aligning yourself with the kingdom of darkness that says, abusing you is all right, holding you prisoner to fear, and threatening you with rage, intimidating, controlling you and making murderous statements? These are the works of the flesh and the devil NOT Jesus.

He is holding you against your will, when he tells you who you can talk to. He has no right to do that. You are a child of God, a daughter of the Most High.

Do not come into agreement with his insanity and crazy making behavior.

Yes, you are agreeing with the enemy. You have to believe me. I have been where you are. I thought I could be Joshua's Savior…one more prayer, one more word, one more experiment…and it never worked because I was not in God's will. You are coming into agreement against God's truth and justice. God hates injustice, oppression and abuse against the innocent, women and children.

If you do not stand against injustice and treachery then you are standing WITH it. You are tying God's hands when you agree with Satan's lies. God can only move within the confines of the truth. I can not plead with God to rescue me from abuse if I am not willing to stand up to it.

God will not come down here and be a help-meet for you. You must rise up in the truth that says, NO!!! ENOUGH!!!

THEN God will rescue you and show you the way out, protect you and back you up.

You have to leave this man…I am pleading with you to leave. Go to a woman's shelter or call your Pastor.

If you do not get away from this you ARE telling God you are agreeing with his behavior.

You are a strong and wise woman of God, believe in yourself…..please arise for the purposes of God to bring the truth about marriage and God's heart to the forefront.
