No Matter How Small you Feel, your Voice is Needed.

These Shakespeare in the Park actors didn't venture in high winds up a winding, one-lane country road into a vast wilderness because they hoped to make a lot of money or be famous. They performed for the love of Shakespeare, for the love of adventure, for the love of theater, for the love of a good story… and for their passion to inspire people.
And so we write our stories for the love of HIS-story shining like a beacon in our own life story, no matter how shattered we may feel or how broken our lives.
For two hours no one stirred from their seats. The audience of about seventy souls sat glued to their lawn chairs, bonded in the tragedy of a 16th century story for two hours in the howling wind.
That's the power of a story.
The ripple effects of your sharing your story will touch the next generation. Even a seemingly tiny story can travel great distances. Don't worry about your audience, whether it's big or small. Tell your story and let the power of Love do the rest.
"Don't put your trust in a publishing house, or the biggest author's platform on social media," is what I'm hearing Papa God say to me. My performance is choreographed by His heart and hand. God's ways are not my ways.
And so I ask again, "Does it really matter where God puts you when it's time to play your role?"
You may be living with people who don't understand you or your needs. You may have lost nearly everyone and everthing dearest to you. Your future may appear bleak, even hopeless. Threats against your life. Smear campaigns and gaslighting. These elements were written into your story long ago, perhaps by family members and ancestors of ancient times. It's all His-story – God's grand theater of your life.
This is where you are today. This is your role to play. Will you rise up and perform your role in His story? Like David fleeing Saul in the wilderness before he was made king of Israel… like Peter who was a fisherman before he became an apostle… like Joseph who was thrown in jail before becoming the second-in-command of Egypt?
Will you rise above your circumstances by taking control of your life story?
- ​Part One: By telling your story. It's only in writing your past chapters that you can understand your life story, to this point. Sharing your story in community gives new meaning to the pain and helps you to get unstuck.
- Part Two: By rewriting your future. You can change your story, from this point onward. Your words and how you use them will paint your next chapter, and the next. God has promised "two mercies for every woe" and has stored up every resource you'll need to fulfill your dreams (Ephesians 1). Nothing is impossible with God!
- Part Three: Your written story becomes a legacy for the next generation, so they can escape the abuse cycle and launch from your shoulders, soaring even higher!
