The Truth Cannot be Extinguished

The Truth Cannot be Extinguished

By: Susan Deborah Schiller

The light shines in the darkness and the darkness does not understand it, and cannot extinguish it… – Madeleine L'Engle

Hope is a Light shining in the darkness, even if at first it's just a tiny beam.

Even on days when I'm straining to focus on the Light, to walk on the waves, and to still the storms around me, whether believing for someone in my family or myself… even on those days, I am always strengthened in offering Hope to others. In giving away what I, myself, need, I am strengthened.

Your words, even if you still struggle and feel washed ashore, nearly drowned…. your words, too, are most needed!

The world is accepting the sociopaths as the new Christian norm. My ex-husband has married two more wives after me and no one questions this… pastors congratulate him, walking over the backs of the victims left in his wake. He goes overseas to minister, carrying this "anointing" wherever he goes. Unbelievable, but true.

“The hardest thing to explain is the glaringly evident which everybody has decided not to see.” – Ayn Rand

Nevertheless, God's glory is shaking every system and one day, as the Bible predicts, and His glory will cover the whole earth. Everywhere you go, people will know and love the Lord. I'm taking time to imagine that day, running to the Light every chance I get.

"We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light." – Plato

I'd like to offer you today some Light-filled, hopeful, words by Bill and Marsha Burns:

THE TRUMPET by BILL BURNS:

I am speaking to you directly and very personally.  I know your situations and I know what is taking place in your circumstances.  I know what the enemy is doing to you and what the enemy has planned for you, but I have plans for you as well.  If you will depend on My plans and come to know My ways and walk this path that I am establishing before you, then you will receive everything that I have in store for you.  On this journey worry is defeated and unbelief is destroyed as you rise to a higher position of faith, knowledge and understanding of Me, says the Lord.

You can sign up for Bill and Marsha Burn's newsletter at ft111.com, if you like. I have been taking heed to their words for over a decade, and they are manna from Heaven.

Let's keep encouraging one another. Don't ever give up! Keep writing to freedom!
