Lioness Arising

Lioness Arising

By: Susan Deborah Schiller

"Can't you dial your story down a notch?" some Christians advise me. "Can't you just be quiet and move on?" they attempt to persuade me, in order to prevent ruffled feathers and not make the ministry look bad.

No, I am a lioness arising. It is evil I am confronting, and if that makes people upset, I cannot be stopped by their fear of exposure.

It's not about making anyone look bad. It's not blaming and shaming PEOPLE that I'm called to do. It's shedding light on what evil people are doing right in front of good people who choose not to see or hear what is happening to their brother, sister, and friend that is necessary to end the evil that flouishes in our own churches and communities.

Grace is for contrite souls. Grace is not for the ones who weep and say they are wrong, with no intention of ever changing.

Grace given to fakers makes you evil's accomplice.

Pathological people don't need more "grace" or more "love", which is how we normally try to help them.

They need us to SEE them. Not as projects or missions or people who need support, but as the highly intelligent, diabolical enemies they are.

That is true grace. If you try to counsel them, or in any way treat them like you would a normal person, you will not only fail, but you will put yourself and everyone around you in danger, as I unwittingly did. And the evil will grow in them.

They speak only lies. Pretty lies. They are the beautiful side of evil.

I am a lioness arising. I'm not going after the weak, the vulnerable, or the innocent. I'm after the murderers of women's souls, the liars, and the deceivers. How? By telling my story. I hope you will join me, in telling your own story.

Every word of your testimony is a ray of Light exposing the darkness!

My light exposes the darkness within me, my own home, next door, and in the next town, and in the next church.

This being a lamp set on a table, or a city lit up on a hill deal, from Matthew 5 is serious business, Jesus told us. Going public is the Kingdom way.

Telling my story, as it turns out, is the RIGHT THING TO DO.

Amazing! What a courageous and brave spirit you have! I am learning to know and love myself leaving a narcissist behind after 15 years. Amazing how God is open my eyes and I have learned so much just in the last month. What an incredible sense of freedom and relief. Still have much healing and much to learn…

15 years is a long time with a narcissist. I’m so glad you are learning to know and love yourself – that is the root of your healing!

I sense in you the same Spirit of Justice that has arisen in me.  It is powerful and courageous and takes no prisoners.  Someone recently tried to tone down my responses to evil, trying to make me feel 'unChristianlike' in my desire to combat evil — my responses are apparently not loving as Christ loves. I'm told I am rewarding evil with evil which is contrary to the Word of God.  My response?  God is as much a God of justice as He is a God of love.  If He chooses to use people to show His love, then it makes sense that He would use people to ensure justice.  Justice — not revenge.

I like the lioness — I think that is a wonderful depiction of how we are confronting the ones.  I'm right there with you, my friend, and I am writing my story and exposing the evil in the hope that someone else will be helped.  (((<3)))

Mercy and grace are not true and real unless paired with justice and righteousness.

Justice and righteousness are the foundation of our Father’s throne.

In the Christian realm right now we are protecting the abusers while blaming the victims. This is satan’s strategy to effectiving rob, kill, and destroy us from within, like a cancer in the Body of Christ.

Those of us who seek to destroy the cancer (lies) by shining the truth (our stories) are immediately judged to be “vindictive, bitter, or angry”.

I like what you say here: “God is as much a God of justice as He is a God of love.  If He chooses to use people to show His love, then it makes sense that He would use people to ensure justice.  Justice — not revenge.” AMEN!

Lisa Bevere has a book out called, “Lioness Arising” and that is what inspired the title of this article. Her book is about the role women are playing, these days, in reversing misogynistic teaching that has pervaded the church, in order to bless, heal, nurture, and protect the wounded people who have been hurt by this system. THis very system has also caused the church to become involved in maffia type activities, sex-trafficking, murder and much more.

Due to my own silence, more women and children have been exposed to a sex predator (my ex-husband). No, silence is not the answer. More love, more mercy is not the answer. At least not in the way they use it. Love is justice. Love is righteousness. Love and Truth must walk hand in hand together. Truth without Love is evil. Love without Truth is evil.

Lucifer knows how to speak truth. He also knows how to show love. But if love and truth are not together, they are tools in Satan’s arsenal, and he delights to use people to destroy each other. Why be worried about monster under your bed with horns on its head when you are more likely sleeping with the enemy, nestled under the covers with a beast who eats a piece of your soul, one verbal assault (bite) at a time?

In my dreams I have fangs and claws, as I stop the predators right in the sanctuary of God’s church…. and I know God wants to save his children, to deliver them from evil. Why must we hear of stories every single day of women who are in hiding, who barely have the strength to walk, let alone get a job and support themselves, who are being threatened by their pastor husbands…. and we are powerless to do anything because we are commanded to not speak against an elder?

There are so many women’s faces before me right now, who are helpless because good Christians choose to protect the pastor who is abusing his wife behind closed doors, but wearing an angelic smile and speaking with “anointing’ in front of everyone else?

Who will rise up to speak for them? Who will love them? It’s so much easier to walk on by.

I want to gather them up in my arms and house them in my home, but maybe that is not what I’m called to do in this day, this moment of time. Maybe my call is to write this book, to write my story, and to wake up the sleeping church.

And I sense we are sisters-in-heart, Joyce…. I am cheering you on! Your story MUST be shared for the whole world to hear….

What an amazing heart you have, Susan!  And a depth of understanding of the spiritual battles that must make the enemy run for cover when you open your eyes each morning.  I'm with you, my friend.  We must take back the stolen ground not only for ourselves but for others.  I'm writing.  We'll see what happens!     xoxo

It’s the misfits, the weak ones… who are finding our places. Heart scribes, we are…

Let’s talk sometime soon 🙂
