The King's Bride: Deep Calls to Deep

By: Susan Deborah Schiller

"Deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls; all your waves and breakers have swept over me." ~ Psalm 42:7

I am the King's Bride, and like all of God's royal daughters, I have instant access to the Throne Room. Heaven is hearing our voices, my friend, as we learn to break our silence. In March of 1999, I went into the Throne Room, praying in my diary and found an oasis in the desert, even a waterfall of healing:

I see a tremendous waterfall and I sense there is "deep power, wonder, and majesty" in this vision. Deep calling to deep, rising up, filling, and falling again and again. It's a River of Passion, rushing and roaring down the hills – bringing good news throughout the land.

Fasting and prayer by many people, in unity, creates a thunderous roar like a mighty waterfall. We are filling the River with our passionate love and prayer and there is great power to heal and bless the nations, wherever this River flows.

"Little One, this is not a one-person job!"

Oh Papa, my King! I just want to talk to You today!

"What is it you desire, My Lady, dressed in white?"

Nothing, my Lord, but more of You. To know You, to feel You, to be aroused only by Your love. To never be moved. To see Your glory. I want to see Your kingdom come and Your will be done. I want to hear You, to follow hard after You. I want to fly – to soar like an eagle. I want the authority to set captives free and lead them to You. I want to see beauty in each face. I want to be beautiful too.

I want to see my brethren set free, healed and living together in unity. I want to speak with authority, power, and conviction. I want the Dark to flee and Your light to come. I want to speak in the tongues of angels and to see clearly Your movements, plans, and actions.

I want to be in the center of your River. All I want is more of You. I ask for the wisdom and love to know You better and to know and love people better. I want to Your mouthpiece, Your hands and feet extended to the world.

"Truly you are wise beyond your years. Why have I called you and why have I placed those desires in you? Because I know you will meet the challenge. No one and nothing will stop you. You press on to finish the course marked out for you. You will not fall; you will not fail. Be bold,, Little One. Step up to the plate. It's time for some home runs."

I don't like it when people block the way – they're not running their race, and they block others from running their course straight.

"Lift your eyes to the heavens – stay focused on Me, not on people. Be a winner, not a whiner. Dread only what will happen if you don't complete the course. That will be something to be sorry about."

It's not easy, but I won't whine, Papa. I don't care what others think of me – I only want to please You, my King.

"My Lady, if this is true, then why be so blue? Cheer up, I say! There now – smile! Laugh! Rejoice with Me! Look ahead to the joy – do you see it? I've given you a peek – taste and see that I AM GOOD."

Wow, I really do mope around too much. More smiles coming Your way! What shall we laugh about today? Show me how You see people – things – life.

"Life's a picture. Step back, look at it, and then decide how you interpret it. Perception is everything, you know. Don't let your emotions make the decisions. Once you decide, then step in the picture and act. You're a course-changer. Impact life – don't let it impact you."

Listening to God's voice, in the Secret Place where He abides in me and I abide in Him, saved my life so many times. During a period of time when the world around me had no answers to the daily challenges of living with an abusive spouse, Papa's love soothed my soul and breathed fresh life into me. He longs to do this with all of His royal daughters! We are the King's Bride!

Choosing love today,

Sue
