Be the Heroine of Your Life

It's 2027 and from that future perspective, I write a letter to my younger self in 2018….
Dear Heart,
You are a heart scribe, and your words have been released like arrows on the tension of the Lord's bow string. With each story published, souls have been rescued, both now and into the future.
Back in July 2018, you launched "HeartScribes Restoration House" and restarted your life story writing company. You were half-terrified and it stretched you well beyond your comfort zone. So many times you wondered if you were crazy, if your words really would make a difference, or if you might be better off just making money at a regular job and saving it up for retirement.
Well, it's 2028 now, and I'm glad you didn't give up! The world has turned in a drastically different direction and it's the creative people who have been paving the way. It's due to the soaring numbers of people who are learning to live from their hearts, returning to ancient paths.
These champions have collectively brought society's culprits to their knees and opened the gate for all of us to live the adventure of life without limits.
By daring to BELIEVE and by having the courage to take action, you set into motion all of the people, resources, and finances for your healing ranch. This ranch is your focus – a place where trauma survivors come to rest, to rejuvenate, and to restart their lives.
It's a beautiful place here, surrounded by forested hills and lakes. I love it here and when you see it you'll know it was worth the sacrifice of your time, labor, and resources. You gave your all!
I want to say thank you for choosing yourself, for the first time, back in 2018. Instead of building someone else's dream, you chose to put everything into pursuing your own dream. This bold action got Heaven's attention and all of heaven released resources to you, to speed you on your journey to freedom and fullness.
Faith is always an ACTIVE role, not a passive position. You had to let go of your only security to pursue your passion.
Mission Impossible, one of the major themes of your life, has turned into Mission Accomplished.
You'll be glad to know there are horses, goats, sheep, chickens, dogs, and cats living here at the ranch. You learned how to craft highly detailed prayers, and your prayers became the transcript of the future I'm (we're) now living in.
You learned to eliminate the negatives, to delete the frets, and to release the worries. Thank God! If you hadn't, your story would have continued with more chapters of abuse and trials that would have prematurely taken your life. You couldn't have taken much more, I know!
I want to warn you to take advantage of every opportunity and not to push away the generosity of people who want to run alongside you, to assist you. By your nature, you tend to do everything yourself. This is a false pride and gets in the way. You must learn to receive well, even as you love to sacrifice and give.
All of the negative patterns you are releasing are breaking chains off your children and grandchildren, especially!
Your first grandchild is now an adult living on her own, and you'll be glad to know this ancient soul is living from her heart, daring to be unique, and highly successful! You will be proud when you see the wise decisions she is making. Your second grandchild is blossoming and her bouyant spirit causes her to bounce back quickly from every bump in the road.
She's thriving, in large part, due to your prayers. Don't ever grow weary in doing good!
2018 is your year, Deborah, to dare to believe. You leaned into your Beloved instead of relying on your own strength and resources. You realized how much you are loved! You finally accepted the truth that you can do nothing of value apart from your Beloved. Learning to rest, to cease struggling and striving, was your hardest lesson. But you persevered!
You began to take time to dawdle, to play, to wander, to take naps. It's a primary principle of the Kingdom that resting and retreating are the quickest route to advancement!
The way out is the way back. Going back felt like leaping into the abyss of despair, but you discovered all the missing pieces there… parts of yourself that had been left behind. Your innocence was restored, as you:
- Learned to rest in Abba's arms while the world spun crazily.
- Exchanged chaos for love, joy, and peace. This is what it means to find yourself at home.
George MacDonald, in his book, "Lilith," helped you to understand that we cannot begin to understand ourselves and our true purpose in this world until we find ourselves at Home. We cannot begin to do the work we've been designed to do until we learn to rest.
Always remember: There will never be a perfect time to learn the unforced rhythms of life. In fact, the best time is when you're surrounded by chaos, on the battlefield of life.
I'm proud of you, Susan. You've come so far, and because you took the year 2018 to choose yourself, to choose love, I am here in 2028 to let you know that giving your all, indeed, paid off.
You can never lose when you give your all, even if you fail a thousand times in the process. God is using it all, even your mistakes and messes, to create something beautiful! And you get to be in the action, for this is the journey of freedom and fullness!
Writing Prompt: Write a letter to yourself today, from the perspective of the person you envision yourself to be 10 years from now. Listen to your heart, find yourself inside the flow of God's Spirit…. you'll hear her voice and it may just surprise you what she wants to tell you!

Hi, I'm White Dove. Yes, it's my pen name, and it was given to me by a blind man who shyly whispered it to me in a Divine encounter. Yes, it's my real picture… just an ordinary selfie.
